African Safari for Families

Dancing with Masai warriors, watching lions hunting antelopes and a picnic in the famous Ngorongoro Crater is all part of a family holiday in Tanzania from Travel With Kidz.

Africa is the most diverse continent on the planet. A safari to Africa offers an amazing quality of inclusions and sheer uniqueness of experiences. The remoteness of many of the locations and the fact that most prices are all inclusive - an African safari represents outstanding value.

Tanzania is famous for its great game parks and its abundance of wildlife. The two best-known parks are of course Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and then there is Lake Manyara, often tinged pink with the presence of hundreds of flamingos. Tanzania offers families the opportunity to view lions in the wild, Masai grazing their herds of cows and breathe taking scenery all in comfort of a 4WD driven by your highly trained guide.

The eight-day safari from Dar Es Salaam includes all the highlights of this East African country which is famous for the unique migration of millions of zebras and wildebeests between Tanzania and the neighbouring Masai Mara game reserve in Kenya.

The tour also takes in Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara with its unique tree-climbing lions and a small museum at Ol’Duvai Gorge, where Mary and Louis Leakey found evidence of the 1.8-million year old Nutcracker Man.

Prices per adult sharing are $4495 and for children aged up to 14 $3550. They include all accommodation and meals, ground transport in a 4WD with an English–speaking guide, all Park entrance fees and game drives.
