Kids Fares
An infant who does not require a seat is charged 10 per cent of an adult fare. A child aged from two to 12 years receives a 50 per cent discount off an adult fare.

Kids Luggage Allowance
Infants (who do not have a seat) are allowed 10kgs, and one bag.
Children are allowed 20kgs per bag, with a maximum of two bags, the same free baggage allowance as adults.

Kids Entertainment
Each seatback includes a personal television screen and there is a dedicated children’s channel with comedy, cartoons, movies and music, plus an interactive channel with 50 games. Children also receive their own brightly coloured junior-sized headsets.

Kids Meals
Book ahead for a special child’s meal for those aged two to 12 years. Typically these include one or more of the following: burgers, fish/chicken fingers, french fries, chocolate, chips. A vegetarian child meal can also be provided.
There is well known baby food stocked by each Emirates flight however it is recommended that parents bring their own baby food. Milk and/or meals can be heated on board by the cabin crew.
If it is your child’s birthday on the day of your flight, Emirates can prepare and present a birthday cake, just let the reservations team know at the time of booking of your flight. Plus, the cabin crew will take a Polaroid photo as a high-flying memento.

Kids Packs
There are two new substantial packs now available – a colourful rucksack on outbound flights from Dubai, and a bag for inbound flights. Each one comes in five colour choices and is first-class quality.
Inside each pack is a cute and cuddly, super soft toy called a Querk, a Dr Seuss classic story book; e-kids, puzzle-packed magazine, games, colouring pencils and a cute child-sized eye mask.

Babies on board
A baby and toddler kit is provided that includes wet wipes, cream, bib, teething ring and tissue pack. Baby food, formula, feeding bottles and nappies are available but it is recommended parents bring their own baby supplies.
There is a baby Querk to entertain the littlies, which is a well-made glove puppet dressed in one of the five animal costumes.
