Kids Fares
Infants up to two years of age and who do not require a seat, travel for free. Child fares are not available.

Kids Luggage Allowance
20kg, sum weight, is allowed for checked-in luggage for all passengers. Prams are checked in at no charge and are not part of the luggage weight allowance.

Kids Entertainment
There is a variety of family friendly viewing on the drop down screens, and reuseable headsets are available for purchase. For more individual viewing, portable video-on-demand units are available to hire: $10 prepaid or $12 once you are onboard.
The portable video-on-demand units feature up to 10 movies, TV shows and music videos.

Kids Meals
You can choose to either pre-purchase a Feed Me Package at the time of booking, which includes a main meal, light meal and a drink for $25. Or bring your own food and drink on board providing it adheres to the new Custom’s requirements regarding the carriage of liquids and gels. Main meals, light meals, snacks and drinks are also available to purchase on board.

Kids Packs
A Jetstar back pack is available for $7. It’s filled with a colouring-in book, pencils, stickers, a puzzle, soft toy and postcards.

Babies on board
A limited number of bassinets are provided on international flights to/from Australia (excluding Trans-Tasman flights) and need to be booked via Jet Star reservations prior to flying.
Baby gear such as your pram and portable cot will be checked in free of charge.
Cabin crew will assist with the heating of milk and formula bottles however these items are not provided. Baby food and formula can be brought on board pending Custom’s legislation regarding the carriage of liquids and gels. Check with the airline prior to travel.
Baby change tables are available in aircraft toilets.

Kids flying unaccompanied by adult
All children must travel with a person aged 15 years or older.
