Kids Fares
Infants travel for 10 per cent of an adult’s fare, which does not provide a seat for the child.
A child’s fare covers those aged two – 11 years and is 75 per cent of an adult fare.

Kids Luggage Allowance
Infants can check in 10kg of luggage, plus a fully collapsible stroller or carry cot.
Children can check in 20kg of luggage, the same allowance as for adults for all flights except to/from USA and Canada where two pieces are allowed, each weighing up to 32kg.

Kids Entertainment
Kris World is Singapore Airlines’ entertainment system and features a Just For Kids channel for children aged up to 12 years. It has cartoons (including Dora the Explorer), kids movies and TV programs, and Nintendo Gameboy and video games, which can be played against people in other seats. There is also an audio channel for kids featuring the latest children’s CDs and sound tracks. Parents can chose to block any program, although this needs to be done before flying.

Kids Meals
Special meals for infants and children can be requested at the time of booking or up to 24 hours prior to departure. There are four types of infant and child meals to choose from: baby meals (0 -12 months), post –weaning (one to two years) and children’s meal (two to 11 years). Children’s meals are usually served before the adults.

Kids Packs
With the exception of the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur route, kids aged 12 years and under will receive an exclusive Dora the Explorer pack. There are plush toys, activity sets, zip bags, Dora watches and Dora Monkey Slippers.

Babies on board
Parents need to bring their own formula but baby meals (jars of baby food for those aged 0 -12 months and soft food such as porridge for toddlers aged 12 – 24 months) are provided if you book ahead. Bassinets are available for babies up to 14kg on a first-come, first served basis and need to be booked at the time of your reservation.

Kids flying unaccompanied by adult
Unaccompanied minors can fly from five years of age to 17, under the care of Singapore Airlines staff and cabin crew from checking in to arriving at their destination. There are forms to fill out for this service so make your request at the time of booking.
