Cradle Mountain is a spectacularly beautiful area in the heart of the island which is ideal for bushwalking. Located 144 km from Launceston and 83 km from Devonport, Cradle Mountain forms the northern end of the wild Cradle Mt - Lake St Clair National Park, itself a part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.
